CCR are committed to protecting your privacy. All information will be collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
About this privacy policy
This privacy policy describes how we use and protect any information that you give us when you use this website, or during the course of our provision of goods and services to you. It relates to personal data, which means information which identifies you, either directly or indirectly.
We only hold and process personal information you provide us with, and in accordance with this privacy policy. This policy is effective from June 2022, but we may update it, and you should check this page from time to time to make sure that you are happy with its contents.
The information we collect
We only collect personal information when you provide it to us on our enquiry form, or during the course of providing you with goods and services. This will include your name, contact information including your email address, telephone number, and other information relevant to obtaining an estimate from us or providing you with goods and services.
Cookies
Cookies help us to provide you with a better website by enabling us to monitor which pages you find useful and which you do not. When you visit our website, a cookie is stored on your browser. This does not give us access to your computer or any information about you, other than the data you choose to share with us.
You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. This may prevent you from taking full advantage of the website.
Our lawful basis for collecting and processing your data
We are required to have a lawful basis for collecting and processing your data. We rely upon the fact that it is a legitimate interest of our business to collect and process your data, and also on the need to collect and process your data so that we can meet our contractual obligations to you, where that is the case.
What we do with the information we collect
Information collected via our enquiry form is transmitted to our staff by email so that they can respond to your enquiry. Further communication, for example in emails, or any information collected during the course of our relationship with you, is also protected by the relevant UK legislation.
All data, however we collect it, will be deleted six years after we have finished the work that you contract us to carry out.
We use the information you give us to understand your needs, to provide you with the best service we can, to collect and manage payments, and on occasion to send you promotional material.
Marketing
We will not email you in the future other than to follow up from your order, unless you have given us your consent for ongoing marketing on product alerts.
You can ask us to stop sending you promotional material at any time by responding to a marketing email with the word ‘remove’ in the subject header.
Transferring your data
We don’t share, sell or in any way transfer your data to anyone else, unless we have your explicit permission or are required by law or a regulatory requirement to do so.
We don’t transfer your data outside of the UK/EEA, except with your permission, or if we are required by law or a regulatory requirement to do so.
Controlling your personal information
You can request details of the personal information which we hold about you. If you believe that any information we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, you can ask us to correct it and we will do so. You can also ask us to erase the data we hold about you at any time and we will do so within 30 days unless we are required by law to retain that information. Requests of these types should be addressed to Director@ccrpaperrolls.co.uk.
Complaints
If you are unhappy with the way we have dealt with your data, or if you feel we have not dealt with any request about your data in a timely and appropriate way, you can complain to the Information Commissioner (which is the UK’s data protection regulator) on their helpline number: 0303 123 1113.
